'İstanbul Plak' is one of the oldest music publishing companies of
Turkey, established in 1963 and based in Unkapanı,
Istanbul. Its owners are Mustafa and Mehmet Söğütoğlu; the latter is famous for having discovered the world-wide known Turkish pop star,
Tarkan.
Besides Tarkan, İstanbul Plak published the works of such famous artists like
Orhan Gencebay,
Zeki Müren or rock singer
Teoman.
