1957 AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS

The '1957 African Cup of Nations' was the first edition of the African Cup of Nations, the soccer championship of Africa (CAF). It was hosted by Sudan, and three teams participated: Egypt, Sudan, and Ethiopia with South Africa disqualified because of apartheid.
Egypt beat Ethiopia 4-0 in the final to become the first African champions, with all four goals scored by Al-Diba (Mohamed Diab El-Attar).
