1963 AFRICAN CUP OF NATIONS

The '1963 African Cup of Nations' was the fourth edition of the African Cup of Nations, the soccer championship of Africa (CAF). It was hosted by Ghana. The field expanded to six teams, split into two groups of three; the winners of the group met in the final. Ghana won its first championship, beating Sudan in the final 3-0.
