2009 ICC WORLD CUP QUALIFIER
The '2009 ICC World Cup Qualifier' is a cricket tournament that will take place in April 2009 in the United Arab Emirates. It is the final qualification tournament for the 2011 Cricket World Cup.
The tournament is the new name for the ICC Trophy.

These teams will be joined by the top four teams from Division Two of the ICC World Cricket League in 2007, and the top two teams from Division Three in 2009. The top six teams from this tournament will qualify for the 2011 Cricket World Cup, and gain One-day international status for the following four years. The semi finals, final, and 3rd and 5th place play-offs of this tournament will be official ODIs.
