'71 Tauri' (71 Tau / 71 Tauri) is a faint fourth-magnitude star in the constellation Taurus. It has the traditional name '''Polyxo''' (Greek Πολυξω), referring to one of the seven Hyades sisters.
71 Tauri is a yellow-white F-type main sequence star with an apparent magnitude of +4.48, just barely clinging to fourth-magnitude. It is approximately 156 light years from Earth.
