AMX-10P
The 'AMX 10 P' is a French infantry fighting vehicle. It has NBC protection and amphibious capabilities, with hydro jets to swim in water.
In the French Army, 108 of these will be upgraded in 2005, notably improving the armour and mobility [1]. An active armour kit is already available.
The AMX-10P has been operated in the past by France, the United Arab Emirates, Greece, Indonesia, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore and Mexico.
The AMX-10P is planned to be replaced by the VBCI by 2008.
