ABITIBI (PROVINCIAL ELECTORAL DISTRICT)
'Abitibi' is a defunct provincial electoral district in the province of Quebec, Canada. Situated in the Abitibi-Temiscamingue region in Western Quebec, the riding was created in 1923, from parts of the now-defunct Temiscamingue district. It was later split after the 1939 elections in two existing ridings, Abitibi-Ouest and Abitibi-Est.
