ADENAU

'Adenau' [] is a municipality in the district of Ahrweiler, in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is situated in the Eifel mountains, approx. 25 km south-west of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler. The town is famous because is located at one side of the ''Nordschleife'' of the Nürburgring.
Adenau is the seat of the ''Verbandsgemeinde'' ("collective municipality") Adenau.
