AEOLIAN-SKINNER
'Æolian-Skinner Organ Company, Inc.' — Æeolian-Skinner was a builder of a large number of pipe organs in the first part of the 20th century. Key figures were Ernest M. Skinner and G. Donald Harrison. The company formed with the merger of the Skinner Organ Company and the pipe organ division of the Aeolian Company in 1932. Aeolian-Skinner built pipe organs for such places as the National Cathedral in Washington, DC, Community of Christ Auditorium in Independence, Missouri and the Mormon Tabernacle in Salt Lake City, Utah which the company rebuilt and greatly expanded.
