AEROSPACE INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
'Aerospace Industrial Development Corporation' (漢翔航空工業股份有限公司) is an aerospace company based in Taichung which developed the AIDC Ching-kuo aircraft. The company is commonly referred to as 'AIDC'.
AIDC was established in 1969. In 1983,it was transferred to the Chung-Shan Institute of Science and Technology. In 2000, 'AIDC' was divided into four units which are:
★ Aerostructures Division
★ Engine Division
★ Technology Division
★ Administration Division
★ AIDC F-CK Indigenous Defence Fighter
★ AIDC AT-3
★ AIDC T-CH-1 (Basic Trainer)
★ AIDC PL-1 (Primary Trainer)
★ AIDC XC-2 (Civil transport, prototype only)
