History
Aguadilla Mall opened its doors in 1994. The new shopping center was privately owned by a local entrepreneur, Mirta Ramos.
In the early 1990s, with the improvement to roadways, the mall faced significant competition with other nearby malls like Plaza del Norte in Hatillo and Mayagüez Mall in Mayagüez. Later in the 1990s the mall was sold to Commercial Centers Management, Inc. (CCM), company that currently owns the center. CCM began extreme renovations and a mega-improvement in store variety.
Today
'Aguadilla Mall' is the largest shopping center in the region. The mall consists of a total of 75 stores, 6 movie theaters, and 8 fast food restaurants. It is achored by Big Kmart and Amigo Supermarket.
