AIGUILLON
'Aiguillon' (or Auguillon) is a town and commune in France, in the Lot-et-Garonne ''département'', Agen district, near the two rivers that give name to the ''département''.

History
Attached to the English crown in 1318, it was conquered by Du Guesclin in 1370. In 1599 it was converted in center of a duchy.

Incorporated to the French crown 1621-1638. Richelieu purchased this dukedom in 1638 and gave it to Marie Madeleine, the daughter of René Vignerot and his wife Françoise du Plessis, sister of Richelieu:
