History
The line north from Pensacola, Florida to Kimbrough, Alabama was owned by BNSF Railway, and was sold to the Alabama and Gulf Coast Railway in late 1997, with operations beginning September 22, 1997. At the same time, the AGCR acquired trackage rights over an unknown BNSF line.
BNSF now has trackage rights over the AGCR south to Kimbrough.
