ALBERT CARRINGTON
'Albert Carrington' (1813–1889) born in Royalton, Vermont, was an apostle and member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, ordained on July 3, 1870. He served in the Utah Territorial Legislature in 1869. He was excommunicated on November 7, 1885 for adultery and fornication, but was later rebaptized. Carrington was the tenth official Church Historian of the LDS Church between 1871 and 1874.
