ALBERT STEEPLES
'Albert Steeples' (July 28, 1870 — August 14, 1945) was an English cricketer. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Derbyshire during the 1899 season. Steeples was born in Somercotes and died in Derby.
Steeples' only first-class appearance came during the 1899 County Championship, in a ten-wicket defeat against Surrey. Steeples bowled six overs in the first innings, but with little success.
Steeples' brother, Dick, played three games for Derbyshire during the 1897 season.
