ALBERTA HIGHWAY 16

'Highway 16' is central and northern Alberta's primary east-west highway.
It is part of the Yellowhead branch of the Trans-Canada Highway system that extends from British Columbia to Manitoba. The highway is a divided four-lane highway with both at-grade and controlled access intersections. Within Alberta, it passes through Lloydminster, Edmonton, Edson, Hinton and Jasper.
The length within the province of Alberta is 641 km (398 mi).
