ALELLA
'Alella' is a village in the ''comarca'' (shire) of Maresme in
Catalunya, Spain. It is situated on the south-west side of the granite Litoral range, just by the sea. The town is known for
the production of wine, cava and perfumes, but is also a residential centre for Barcelona. What used to be the old Roman Road (Via Augusta) uniting Rome and Andalusia, is still today a narrow road running through the village.
