ALGUA

'Algua' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Bergamo in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 60 km northeast of Milan and about 15 km north of Bergamo. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 743 and an area of 8.1 km².^[1]
The municipality of Algua contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Frerola, Pagliaro, and Rigosa.
Algua borders the following municipalities: Aviatico, Bracca, Costa di Serina, Nembro, San Pellegrino Terme, Selvino, Serina, Zogno.
