ALLEGRA'S WINDOW
'''Allegra's Window''' is a children's television program produced by Nick Jr. in 1994. The show concerns the daily life of a precocious, imaginative, preschool puppet named Allegra. It follows her through the daily triumphs, trials, and tribulations of being young. She and her big brother Rondo, along with her best friend Lindy (a puppy) and a pesky blue neighborhood cat named Riff, all try to learn about the world around them with the help of their neighbourhood friends. At the end of each episode, Allegra sits at her window and reflects on all the lessons she has learned. Most things in the show had something to do with music, such as the dog being named Lindy (A type of dance); Rondo; (another type of dance); Thizzle; (Another Dance); Riff, like a guitar riff; and the title character's name herself, with allegro being a cheerful tempo. Many songs were sung in this show, further adding to the musical theme. There were also a talking violin and saxophone that showed up from time to time. The violin was the saxophone's mother and was always scolding him to play beautiful music, when he only wanted to play jazz.
