ALLIED ROCK-WALLABY
The 'Allied Rock-wallaby' (''Petrogale assimilis'') is a species of rock-wallaby found in northeastern Queensland, Australia. It is very similar to six other species of rock-wallaby found in this area, including the Cape York Rock-wallaby (''P. coenensis''), the Unadorned Rock-wallaby (''P. inornata''), and Herbert's Rock-wallaby (''P. herberti''). The Allied Rock-wallaby is found in the hinterland of Townsville, and also on Magnetic and Palm Islands. There are few distinguishing features from its close relatives in the field.
