'Alteckendorf' (sometimes spelled 'Alt Eckendorf', but according to the town sign at the main road entrances it is Alteckendorf) is a small town or hamlet located in the Alsace region of France, East of the Voges Mountain range nestled between the mountain range and Germany. It is an hour from Strasbourg and near the historically famous Hagenaue. The population is 300 to 500.
