AMAZING JOURNEY

'"Amazing Journey"' is a song by British rock band The Who, originally featured on their 1969 album ''Tommy''. On the album, it shows Tommy's metaphorical journey in his mind to enlightenment. It is often played in conjunction with the instrumental ''Sparks''. The high pitched "chirping" sound heard throughout the track was created by reversing the tail end of a piano note. This is an example of the many studio techniques that The Who explored throughout the album. The song was and is a staple of the Who's legendary live performances.
