(Redirected from Ammaedara)'Haïdra' is a city in western
Tunisia, which was founded as a
Roman city originally named 'Ammaedara'. One of the oldest Roman cities in
Africa, it was built on the border between the valleys and the
Berber tribes.
There are many ruins in the city, some of which include mausoleums,
Byzantine fortresses, underground baths, and a church. little has been published.
