ANNA OXYGEN
'Anna Oxygen' is the stage name of an American musician and actress from Portland, Oregon, Anna Jordan Huff.
After graduating from Evergreen State College with a music degree, Anna began her musical career in the late 1990s with the novelty synth-pop group the Space Ballerinas. The group released two EPs on Yoyo Records entitled "Diamonds" and "If Goth Was Pink" and opened a show for Peaches before disbanding in 2001.
Anna's solo career started in 2002 after she moved from Portland to Seattle.[1] She recorded ''All Your Faded Things'' with producer Justin Trosper, which was released on Cold Crush Records in 2003. Anna then went on tour before releasing her second album ''This Is an Exercise'' on the Kill Rock Stars label in 2006.
She has also appeared on recordings by The Microphones.
Her albums have featured guest vocalists Beth Ditto, Mirah, and Kitty Jenson.
Her feature film debut was the 2005 film ''Police Beat'' directed by Robinson Devor.
Anna is a member of CLOUD-EYE PATROL, a performance art group which also consists of Miwa Matreyek, and Chi-wang Yang. The group is currently working on a new piece entitled FINAL SPACE.
Anna currently resides in Los Angeles, California.
