ANNANDALE (RUGBY LEAGUE TEAM)
(Redirected from Annandale (Rugby League))
'Annandale' were a rugby league team which played in the New South Wales Rugby League premiership from 1910-1920, never placing higher than 5th.
Nicknamed "The Dales", the club colours were red and gold.
Only one win was secured in their final three seasons. This, combined with the industrialisation of the area - fewer players were eligible to play under the residency rules in place at the time (Glebe would also later fall victim, in part, to this phenomenon) - led to their omission in 1920, replaced by St. George.
