ANTHONY GREEN (MUSICIAN)


'Anthony Green' (born April 15, 1982) is a musician from Philadelphia, PA. He is currently the lead singer of Circa Survive, and previously in the bands Audience of One, Jeer At Rome, High and Driving, Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer, Saosin, and more recently, The Sound of Animals Fighting.

Circa Survive

Anthony left Saosin in early 2004 to form Circa Survive. The band immediately gained the support of Equal Vision Records. Within a year, they had released a limited edition tour EP entitled The Inuit Sessions and a full-length album entitled Juturna. This was inspired by Anthony's love of the movie, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
Circa Survive has embarked on many national tours, including an opening slot on Thrice and My Chemical Romance's tour and Mae's headlining tour. [1] In Summer 2006, they began their first tour as the headlining band; [2] The Receiving End of Sirens, Portugal. The Man, Days Away, YouInSeries and Keating, among others, tagged along. Circa released their 2nd album entitled, "On Letting Go," on May 29th, 2007.

Solo work

Anthony Green embarked on a mini solo tour, opening for The Color Fred (Fred Mascherino
of Taking Back Sunday) including a stop in his hometown, Philadelphia, PA on December 27th, 2005, which was recorded in full. The set included some Circa Survive songs and some of his own. [3]
