The 'Appalachian Athletic Conference' is a collection of schools which compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Division II competition. The members include Bluefield College, Bryan College, Covenant College, King College, Milligan College, Montreat College, Tennessee Wesleyan College, Union College (Kentucky), The University of Virginia's College at Wise and Virginia Intermont College.
It fields 15 sports (7 men's, 8 women's) which includes baseball, basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, tennis, track & field for the men, and basketball, cross country, golf, soccer, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball for the women.
