ARLINGTON, EAST SUSSEX
'Arlington' is a village and civil parish in the Wealden district of East Sussex, with a population of 468 (2001 census). The village is on the River Cuckmere.
Arlington has two pubs, The Yew Tree Inn situated near to the church, and The Old Oak Inn situated on/in Caneheath.
Arlington has become famous for its raceway, used regularly in the summer for race meets. Usually of stock cars, "bangers" and motorbikes.
There is no 'Arlington Railway Station'; however the village is situated very close to Berwick railway station, closer than Berwick itself! Berwick railway station is located on the East Coastway Line, south of Glynde and north of Polegate.
