ARTHRALGIA

In medicine, 'arthralgia' (literally: "joint pain", from "arthros" = "joint" and "-algia" denoting "pain") is the presence of painful joints in the absence of frank arthritis. It is present in a number of rheumatological diseases, most notably lupus erythematosus.
