ARTHUR ABRAHAM
'Arthur Abraham' (born 'Avetik Abrahamyan' in Yerevan, Armenia) is a professional German Boxer of Armenian origin and currently the IBF world champion in the middleweight division.

Biography
On September 23, 2006, Abraham won a decision against Edison Miranda despite having his jaw broken in two places. Miranda was deducted five points by landing repeated low blows as well as intentionally headbutting Abraham in the 5th round. After the Miranda bout, "King Arthur" was praised for his ability to finish the fight despite his broken jaw. Arthur Abraham won his return fight since the Miranda bout—on May 26, 2007 against Canadian Sebastien Demers in Bamberg after TKO in the 3rd round, Germany.[1]
Abraham successfully made the fifth defence of his title by defeating fellow Armenian Khoren Gevor by 11th round TKO.
His promotional team hinted that his next fight could take place in America.
Abraham trains under Ulli Wegner in Berlin, Germany and is managed by Wilfried Sauerland.
He won the vacant title on December 10, 2005, in Leipzig, Germany, beating Kingsley Ikeke, via 5-round knock-out.
