ASIA NEWS NETWORK

The 'Asia News Network' (ANN) is a network of Asian daily newspapers that share editorial content with each other, including news stories, feature articles, editorials and personality profiles. ANN was formed in 1999 in Manila at the Asian-German Editors Forum organized by the Konrad Adenauer Foundation and since then subsidised.
ANN is headquartered at the offices of the Nation Multimedia Group in Bangkok. In addition to a website, it produces a weekly newsmagazine, called ''AsiaNews'', with content from its members as well as the magazine's own staff.
Mahfuz Anam, editor and publisher of the Daily Star (Bangladesh), was elected chairman of the organization for 2007 at a meeting of the board members of the organisation held in Seoul[1].
