'Asia Theological Association' is a private and non governmental association formed by certain Christians in India and neighboring countries to confer accreditation to theological institutions in Asia.
They claim to accredit theological degrees and theological institutions.
Though ATA claims to accredit theological seminaries in a large number of Asian countries, it has not been authorized by the education department of any of these countries. Thus the accreditation would not be valid in many Asian countries, all of Europe, and USA for employment, scholarship assistance, or for any other legal purposes.
