ATKINSON, INDIANA

'Atkinson' is a town in Benton County, Indiana, United States. Though virtually extinct, the site of Atkinson is home to the county's only junior/senior high school, Benton Central.

Atkinson is located at (40.562222, -87.246667) on the border of Center Township and Oak Grove Township. U.S. Route 52 and the Kankakee, Beaverville and Southern Railroad both pass northwest through the town.
