AUBIGNY-SUR-NèRE
'Aubigny-sur-Nère' is one of the communes of the Cher département and in the Arrondissement of Vierzon.
This is the location by which the Duke of Gordon gets his honorific title, as the Duke of Aubigny. Aubigny is a common tourist destination for Scots and others from the United Kingdom. It is a city very attached to the Auld Alliance, due to its French-Scottish history for 400 years, and also the only one in France that still celebrates the French-Scottish friendship, each year during the Bastille Day.
