AUSTRALIAN TOURING CAR CHAMPIONSHIP

The 'Australian Touring Car Championship' is a touring car racing award held in Australia since 1960. In the early years, the prize was awarded to the winner of a single race, but since 1969 it has been contested over a series of races. From 1999 to 2001 it was awarded to the winner of the Shell Championship Series and from 2002 to the winner of the V8 Supercar Championship Series.
