AYATORI
'Ayatori' is a Japanese name for string figure. A string about 50cm long is looped around the fingers or wrists of both hands and manipulated to form various patterns. It can be played by one person, or two pepole may take turns, passing the string back and forth, with the receiver grasping the string in such a way that the pattern changes each time it is transferred.
