BAGNOLO IN PIANO

'Bagnolo in Piano' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 60 km northwest of Bologna and about 8 km northeast of Reggio nell'Emilia. As of 30 june 2007, it had a population of 9,050 and an area of 26.7 km².^[1]
The municipality of Bagnolo in Piano contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Castello San Michele, Ponte Beviera, Ponte Nuovo, Romani, San Michele, San Tomaso, and Santa Maria.
