'Bailey's Discount Woodsman Supplies' is the world's largest mail order woodsman supplies company selling at discounted prices. Bill Bailey and his wife Judith started their business in the small town of Laytonville, California when in 1975 Bill was injured in a timberfalling accident. Since that time, Bailey's has grown tremendously and now has regional warehouses in both California and Tennessee. Despite the growth in sales and customer base, the corporate operations are still based in the small Northern California town of Laytonville, population just over '1,000. Bailey's' sells products for: timber harvesting and management, reforestation, arborist supplies, chippers and portable sawmills, firewood cutting and processing, chain saw carving, log home and timber frame building, lumberjack competition, yst-aid, outdoor safety, woodsman boots and clothing and gifts.
