BARNWELL, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE
'Barnwell' (formerly 'Barnwell All Saints' and 'Barnwell St Andrew') is a village in the district of East Northamptonshire in England, south of the town of Oundle. It has a welcoming Community and the people are very friendly.
Barnwell school is a conversion of John Parkes' home. When the school was opened, Parkes became the school's headteacher, along with Yvet Halewood (Year 1 and 2 Teacher). After the first reception teacher left, Mrs. C. Dickens took over. Parkes became the teacher of year 3 and 4.
The School has had a few secreatries, including Mrs Evans, Mrs Richards and Mrs Davies. Sadly, the school has now been closed. As a graduate of the school, I feel this is a great loss to the community. However, I would like to take the time to say thankyou to all the staff and friends at Barnwell Primary.
