BARNWELL CASTLE
'Barnwell Castle' is a now-ruined fortification just south of the Northamptonshire town of Oundle and west of the village of Barnwell.
From 1100-1122 a stone square keep was built which was then later turned into
an original Norman concentric castle around 1266.
