BEACHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL

'Beachwood High School' is a public high school located in Beachwood, Ohio, east of Cleveland, Ohio. It is part Of the Beachwood City Schools District. The school is home to about 550 students from 9th-12th grade. The school has storied athletics, academics, and extra-curriculars. Its colors are white and gold, though uniforms usually include black, and its mascot is the BeacHwood Bison (plural form is also Bison). They are a member of the Chagrin Valley Conference. [1]
'Athletics'
The men's and women's track teams have realized much success over the past several years. The women's team recently won the indoor state championships and had many strong individual performances at the outdoor state championships. The men's team also has many strong athletes.
The Bison baseball team has realized much success over the past year, including an unprecedented 20 consecutive wins.
'The Beachcomber'
The BHS newspaper, The Beachcomber, is an award-winning publication that realizes much success in Northeast Ohio Scholastic Press Association.
