'Cedar Hills Crossing', formerly the 'Beaverton Mall', is a retail shopping center in the city of Beaverton, Oregon,United States. Aerial Photography of Major City Elements: Beaverton Mall The Beaverton Mall has been in operation since 1969, and is located approximately at the intersection of SW Cedar Hills Boulevard and Jenkins Road. An underground chemical release at the site of the Beaverton Mall was discovered in the 1980s. Phase I Environmental Site Assessment for Willow Grove Apartments at 11981 SW Center Street, Beaverton, Oregon, , , , Earth Metrics Inc, , Considerable analysis of this release, along with other on site environmental factors, has been conducted to provide for safety of mall patrons and area residents.[1][2] At least through the period 1970 to 1990 (the interval when the release occurred) the center functioned in compliance with most local governmental standards for environmental regulation.

Previous to the mall's construction, the site was a small airport known as Watts Airport and thence as Bernard's Airport. In 2002, tenants and operators of the Beaverton Mall were successful in removing the Fairfield-Ternan connection through the Beaverton Mall site from the proposed local street master plan.
