BELMONT LAKE STATE PARK

'Belmont Lake State Park' is located in Babylon (town), New York on Long Island in Suffolk County, New York. The park has boating and picnicking facilities and playing fields for popular sports.
The park served as the headquarters of the Long Island State Parkway Police from its founding in 1946 until its disbandment in 1980. It now serves as the headquarters of the New York State Park Police.
Fishing for stocked trout in the spring and other native species of fish including largemouth bass during the rest of the year can be fun and rewarding!
