BENTON, NEWCASTLE UPON TYNE

'Benton' is an incorporated town in Newcastle upon Tyne. Benton Metro station dates from 1871 and is still used regularly. Technically, Longbenton Community College is in Benton. Other places of education within the locality include Benton Park Primary School, which opened in 1953.
