BERNARD ACCOYER

'Bernard Accoyer' (born August 12, 1945 in Lyon) is a French politician and mayor of Annecy-le-Vieux.
He is serving his second term as mayor, and is a doctor by profession. He is also the French MP of the district and has been president of the UMP group in the National Assembly of France since 2002.
In 2007, he is selected as the candidate of the UMP group - which has the absolute majority - for the presidency of the National Assembly of France and has become the President of the National Assembly since June 26, 2007.
