BERRYLANDS
'Berrylands' is a residential neighbourhood in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames that before 1965 formed part of the Municipal Borough of Surbiton. It is a suburban development situated 10.1 miles (16.2 km) south west of Charing Cross.

History
Originally farmland, the area was developed for housing in the 1930s. It contained a Lido (swimming pool), the 'Surbiton Lagoon' at .[1][2] Kingsmeadow stadium is nearby, home of Kingstonian F.C. plus AFC Wimbledon. It is home to the sports ground of the London School of Economics and Political Science.
Present day
It is now notable for the 'Brave New World' bar which regularly plays host to live music.[3]
