BETH GRANT
'Beth Grant' (born September 18, 1949) is an American actress. She is known for playing characters who are very strict, conservative, religious zealots and sticklers for rules.
She has appeared in dozens of films, including ''Speed'', ''Love Field'', ''Donnie Darko'', ''Sordid Lives'', ''A Time to Kill'', ''Little Miss Sunshine'',''Child's Play 2'' ,''Daltry Calhoun'' and ''Factory Girl''. Grant has also appeared in many TV shows, including ''Malcolm in the Middle'', ''The X-Files'', ''Friends'', '', ''Six Feet Under'', ''My Name Is Earl'',''King of the Hill'', ''Angel'', and ''Judging Amy''. In 2006, she appeared as a recurring character in nine episodes on the CBS drama ''Jericho''.
Grant was born in Gadsden, Alabama to Elizabeth, who managed a state employment security office, and William Grant, a poultry specialist. She is an alumnus of East Carolina University and is married to actor Michael Chieffo, with whom she has one child.
