BIBBIANO

'Bibbiano' is a ''comune'' (municipality) in the Province of Reggio Emilia in the Italian region Emilia-Romagna, located about 70 km northwest of Bologna and about 14 km southwest of Reggio Emilia. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 8,422 and an area of 28.0 km².^[1]
The municipality of Bibbiano contains the ''frazioni'' (subdivisions, mainly villages and hamlets) Barco, Belvedere, Casale di Sopra, Case Catalani, Gattaglio, Ghiardo, Il Folletto, Mangallana, Piazzola, Razza, and San Filippo.
Bibbiano borders the following municipalities: Cavriago, Montecchio Emilia, Quattro Castella, Reggio Emilia, San Polo d'Enza.
