Synopsis

Michelle McNally (Rani Mukerji) loses her eyesight and hearing at the tender age of eighteen months, causing her to grow up in a world where she is isolated in the darkness of her own existence. She understands nothing of the frustrating world around her, making her a violent, uncontrollable eight-year old. Her parents, Paul and Catherine, are at their wits' end, until Debraj Sahai (Amitabh Bachchan) enters their lives.
