BLACK MARK PRODUCTIONS

'Black Mark Productions' is an independent record label based in Sweden that specializes in extreme metal releases and was founded by Quorthon, who was best known as the leader of Bathory until his untimely death in 2004. Its name is a reference to the title of Bathory's third album, ''Under the Sign of the Black Mark''. Among the label's notable signings are Edge of Sanity, Morgana Lefay, Nightingale, Cemetary, Fleshcrawl (prior to 1998), and 8 Foot Sativa.
The label is currently owned by Quorthon's father, Börje "Boss" Forsberg.
